In the country where I live, Australia, there are plenty of places that will take on a person that is not able to work due to a mental illness. Even with my illness, I find a way to work a couple of days a week.

The life you can have working in the daytime and not staying up all night gossiping, is a good life. There are many places that you can work and where you input a couple of days a week will be valued.

There are so many people that are not working at all and who could work even if they are on a Disability Pension. In our country we have a program where people have to work for their unemployment benefit. This is a good scheme that has been set up and gives people worthwhile experience while they are out of work.

I enjoy working with these people in a soup kitchen ran by the Salvation Army. This is a good thing for me as it gets me out of the house and mixing with a community of Christians and people that are poor.

There are many organizations that have a job for you where you can volunteer your services, make a difference, and give back to the community. Come on readers, get up and work for a living.
